Scott's Fish Room

Lights & Power

Pictures of some of the support systems

I have a 12k natural gas generator for backup as DTE is unrealiable. I have 3 different circuits for the fish room: Filters, Heaters, and lights. Each one is connected to a GFCI for safety. All the GFCI's were just replaced (Feb 2024) as one of them failed to trip when it should have. The pressure gauge is for the air system. Air is supplied by an Alita 40 Linear Air Pump. (The Air pump is connected to a battery backup) I try to keep the air pressure at .5 PSI to make the diaphragms in the pump last longer. The timer is WIFI controlled and controls the tank lights. I replaced all the 4 foot LED's (Feb 2024)
I figured out how to monitor the air supply remotely using a pressure switch and a wifi water leak detector.
